This is a really neat book. The pacing is interesting. It has periods of intense detailed action interspersed with periods where it feels like you're not entirely certain how much time has passed.

I’m enjoying this, though the pace is just starting to pick up. I’d say that Shannon definitely isn’t afraid to drop you in the deep end of world building. Refreshingly, there is not too much exposition.
